Item description: * See scans – perfect condition. This is a fantastic Victorian era circa 1880 diamond ring. The ring is marquise or almond shaped diamond cluster ring, set throughout with 25 old brilliant cut diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of 2.5 carats, claw set in silver to a marquise shaped yellow gold mount, to a tapered D-section rose gold shank. The 9 centerpiece diamonds are large in size measuring an average 0.35-0.45 carats each and all diamonds have a great sparkling E-F color and average VS clarity.

This antique piece of jewelry is of English manufacture and most likely crafted by one of the very skillful goldsmiths and jeweler masters of Great Britain. The jewel comes with original Collingwood & Sons case of issue – all in perfect intact condition.

Gross weight of the ring is 5.1 grams. The marquise shaped top measures approximately 26.5 mm long and 12mm wide at its widest part. The ring is size 59 (UK size R / US size 8 ѕ), but it can be resized upon additional request. Scarce and gorgeous antique jewelry / jewellery collector piece and one of the rare old British Victorian diamond jewels and diamond rings.
